Kiwanis provides student scholarships
Each year, the Kiwanis Foundation provides scholarships, totaling $5,000-10,000, to graduating high school seniors pursuing post-secondary education through career and technical education or a college degree. We are grateful to be able to promote an educated community, and an educated world.
Three scholarships honor a legacy gift made by longtime Kiwanian Dell Abelein.
A life sciences scholarship is given in honor of longtime Kiwanian Don Jones. In addition, a Law Camp scholarship honors Mr. Kiwanis: Ron Pannell.
The Foundation also supports the Princess of Douglas Fir Scholarship, as part of the community's annual Forest Festival celebration.
If you wish to support the scholarship awards and endowments, you may make a gift to the Shelton Kiwanis Foundation.
